A join form asks players for a few details before they join, for example their name or employee ID, so you can hand out prizes. Players agree to a consent text first.
Make a join form
On the Join forms page, owners and editors press New join form:
- Fields: up to 8, each a name, an email address, a phone number or text, with a label in Thai and in English. Mark the ones players must fill in.
- Consent: the text players agree to, in Thai and in English. Leave a language empty to use TarmTorb’s text. You can link to your own privacy notice.
- Keep the details for: 7, 30, 90, 180 or 365 days. Then the details are deleted automatically. Nicknames and scores stay.
- Show the winners’ details to the host: when the game ends, the host console shows the winners’ details, so prizes can be handed out: as many winners as the podium revealed. See Hosting a game.
When you open a game’s lobby, choose the join form under Join form. The game keeps its own copy, so editing the form later changes nothing for that game.
Who sees the details
- Owners and editors see every attendee’s details on the game’s results page, and can download them as a CSV file.
- Hosts never see them, except the winners’ details if the form allows it.
- Players, the big screen and TarmTorb’s game servers never see them.
TarmTorb encrypts the details before storing them, on our servers in Thailand.
Requests from attendees
As the organizer, you decide what to collect, so attendees ask you to see or delete their details. To delete one person’s details, open the game’s results, find them under Attendee details, and press Delete. Their nickname and score stay. To give someone their details, download the CSV and send them their row.
