Making a quiz

In Quizzes, press New quiz. The editor saves as you type: Saved appears next to its buttons once your changes are safe.

Kinds of questions

• Multiple choice: up to six answers. Mark the right one, or switch on More than one answer can be correct.
• True or false: a statement players judge.
• Poll: there is no right answer. Players vote and nobody scores. Switch on Players can pick more than one to let them choose several.
• Type the answer: players type what they think. Add every answer you accept. Capital letters, extra spaces, and Thai or Arabic digits don’t matter.
• Info slide: a title and some text between questions, with no answers. The game waits for you to move on.

A question can have an image or a YouTube clip, and the answers of multiple choice questions and polls can have images too: see Images and video clips.

Time, points and explanations

• Time to answer: from 5 seconds to 4 minutes.
• Points: with Standard, a right answer earns up to 1,000 points: the faster the answer, the more points, and never fewer than 500. Double doubles them. No points suits warm-up questions.
• Explanation: shown with the answer, to say why it is right. You don’t have to write one.

A question can be up to 200 characters long, with bold and italic text: type **bold** and _italic_.

The language of a quiz

Choose Thai or English in Language of the questions. Each player’s phone shows its buttons and messages in Thai, or in English if the player picks it, whatever language the questions are in.

Previews and checks

The preview shows each question as phones and the big screen will. The editor also lists anything to fix before the quiz can be hosted, such as a question with no right answer. When there is nothing left, it says Ready to host.

Copies and mistakes

• In the library, Duplicate copies a quiz, for example to change it for another event. Delete removes a quiz, and Undo brings it back.
• In the editor, you can move questions up and down, duplicate them and delete them.
• If someone saves the same quiz in another window, the editor tells you, and you choose which version to keep.
